About

Built by IK Studios

Nexus began as the platform IK Studios runs itself on. We built it to operate a company end to end, governed and secure, and now offer it to organisations that want the same integrated system.

Why we built it

Running a company means stitching together a dozen tools that do not share an access model, an audit trail, or a way of working. We wanted one system where communication, people, documents, operations, and, for our own engineering, deployments and incidents all lived under the same governance.

So we built it, and ran on it. Nexus is a mature internal operating platform across a macOS command center, a web dashboard, and a mobile trusted-device companion. We are now opening it to organisations through a design-partner programme while the commercial layer is completed.

We are deliberate about honesty. This site labels every capability by status, and we would rather under-claim than present planned work as shipped.

Governance

Access is least-privilege and every consequential action is accountable.

Security

Protection is designed in from the data layer up, not added later.

Configurability

The system adapts to how an organisation works, not the other way around.

Craft

The details matter. The product should feel considered everywhere you look.

The wider ecosystem

Nexus can manage real products through its Application OS. Vault One, another IK Studios product, is an example of an application operated from within the platform. Nexus itself remains the operating system that ties everything together.
